Bed bugs are blood suckers, although they do not seem to be involved with any serious disease transmission, their bites at night can prove quite annoying, and even unbearable at times.

Historically bed bugs are associated with the sleeping quarters of hotels, taverns, inns and hostels, but in domestic situations the infestation is usually located mainly in bedrooms, abundance of bed bugs does not relate to standards of hygiene.

Bed bugs spend most of their time hi dden in cracks and crevices fairly close to their sleeping hosts, and in the early hours of the morning they take a blood meal and then return to their hiding place.
